Talking to our special correspondent, producer of Safeer-e-Pakistan Waqar Ali Khan said that this year prominent Pakistani Americans, and mainstream Americans involved with organizations, who have diligently served the community here in USA and in Pakistan, will receive the awards.
From the State of Texas, President of Pakistan association of Golden Triangle Entrepreneur Mohammad Tahir Javed will get Businessman of the Year Award; President of Houston-Karachi Sister City Association and Former President of Pakistan-Chamber of Commerce - USA (PCC-USA) Muhammad Saeed Sheikh will get Community Services Award while House of Charity Houston’s Plastic Surgeon Dr, Joseph Agris will be getting the Humanitarian Award in providing free plastic surgery to children of Pakistan.
Several outstanding American organizations and well-known Pakistani Americans names have been nominated for various awards. They include Shine Humanity, Khurshid Qureshi, Talat Rasheed, Faieyaz Merchant, Tariq Ahmed Nizami, Dr Argumand Hashmi, Dr Sattar Abbasi, Hinawi Nadeem, Shaukat Bangash, Dr Asif Mahmood, Attorney Ubaid-ur-Reham, Mir Ali, Dr Tahir Akhtar, Pakistan News, Dr, Naseem Malik, Banker Rasheed Memon, Randy L Dailhi, Malka Chughtai, and several other personalities.
Senators, Congresspersons, and other social personalities are invited to distribute awards.
Special musical program has been planned for the evening, in which seasoned Pop Singer Mohammad Ali Shyhaki will also perform.
